carseat safety?

So last week, I asked Anthony to install the carseat and then take it to the local carseat clinic to get it checked to ensure we knew how to do it properly... apparently a large number of carseats are installed incorrectly, and i can guess that most of those people thought they were doing it properly, so we figured we'd just get it checked to be sure.

Well, the lady at the clinic said "oh, i've never seen one like this before!" (it's a graco, and it's one of the two that met the Canadian standards when Consumer reports tested them earlier this year....). So Anthony had to proceed to show her how to install it, how the clips worked with the car's built in carseat anchors, etc.

Yup, he taught her how to do it. She just checked that it was tight and level. Good to know he knows what he's doing, but what's the point of the checks if the people there don't know?
